Terms of Service

The terms that govern your use of Jobmetry, our job search tracking platform.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Jobmetry ("Jobmetry," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the service.

If you use Jobmetry on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. The Service

Jobmetry is a web application that helps you organize and track your job search, including applications, interview stages, reminders, and related analytics.

We may update, improve, or discontinue features at any time. We try to provide reliable access to the service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

3. Accounts and Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Jobmetry. You are responsible for maintaining the security of the account credentials associated with your sign-in method.

You may sign in using Google authentication. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account details current.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly at support@jobmetry.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse Jobmetry. This includes, without limitation: violating applicable laws; attempting to gain unauthorized access to the service or other users' data; interfering with or disrupting the service; scraping or harvesting data through automated means without our permission; uploading malicious code; or using the service to harass, abuse, or harm others.

You retain ownership of the content you submit to Jobmetry, such as application notes, company names, and interview details. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display that content solely to operate and improve the service for you.

5. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information. By using Jobmetry, you also agree to our Privacy Policy.

6. Fees

Jobmetry may offer free and paid features. If paid plans are introduced, we will describe pricing and billing terms before you are charged. Unless otherwise stated, fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

7. Termination

You may stop using Jobmetry at any time by signing out. You can permanently delete your account from Settings → Account. You may also request account deletion by contacting support@jobmetry.com.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the service. Upon termination, your right to use Jobmetry ends immediately.

8. Disclaimers

Jobmetry is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Jobmetry is a productivity tool. We do not guarantee employment outcomes, interview results, or the accuracy of information you store in the service.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jobmetry and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from your use of the service.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or fifty U.S. dollars (USD $50).

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date on this page and, where appropriate, provide additional notice within the app.

Your continued use of Jobmetry after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
